Rosary Necklace with Swarovski and Lapis Lazuli

A fine handmade beautiful rosary necklace with Swarovski crystal sandwiched between two Lapis lazuli beads. Lapis lazuli is a deep blue gemstone and was used by Michelangelo to paint the blue sky on the last judgment in the Sistine Chapel.  Many pictures of Madonna were created using paint from the Lapis Lazuli stone. Unlike all other blue pigments, which tend to pale in light, it has lost none of its radiance to this very day.

On the center of the rosary necklace you find on one side the “Chi-Rho”: the Greek letters X and P, representing the first letters of the title "Christos". 

Late Pope John Paul II introduced this ancient symbol again during the Holy Year of 2000. He asked us to see and ware this Symbol as the unification of all Christians. On the other side you find the Holy Mother Mary and her Child.
